H&R Ultra Varmint Fluted

Anyone have one? Thinking of one but not sure about the Stock setup. Cheapest way into a 22-250, except the 22" model.
1/14 twist. And now I'm reading of pop opens. Scary.

I don't have that one, but I have NEF SB2s and never had the problem.

pop opens

I had a .22-250 SS handi rifle, it would pop opens sometimes unless you almost slammed it shut when you chambered a round. it shot all over the place with a medium price scope, with a Leupold it only grouped about 3", I got rid of it and got me a Stevens 200, great price, tack driver, dependable.

That is some great info Felix. I have about 200 rounds of 223 and have been thinking about picking up a NEF 223. With that in mind I may just pick up a stevens. About the same price anyway and would give me a lot more shots.
