NEF Handi Mag will not happen

I talked to NEF customer service yesterday to see if I could get a clue as to when I could expect my .300 Win Mag Handi Mag rifle to be shipped. The nice lady told me they were cancelling the .300 and the 7mm mags. I'm not sure if that is a permanent thing, or just for now with the economy being what it is. The bottom line is that they are not making them. Funny, isn't it....I got a price from the dealer and ordered something that doesn't exist off the drawing boards!

An adder: I wonder if that was a Remington decision???? Any thoughts?

well since remington purchased marlin, might be a lot of changes around

Thats not good. I was interested in them too and was wondering how yours would work out for you. Thinking now I might go buy my Handi Rifle(s) before they discontinue more of the line.

Yeah, I'm going to send my 45-70 receiver back in for 3 more barrels while they're there.
