| Registered User | I have a plainfield m1 carbine. When I shoot it the ejected shell casing comes straight back and hits me in the forehead. Can anyone tell me what is causing this? Where can I get the part to fix it? Thanks |

| Senior Member | The ejection angle has to do with the relationship of ejectorand extractor; ammo and recoil spring...Obviously the ejection angle may differ due to bolt recoil speed which has to do with ammo and recoil spring. You may want to swap out the extractor and ejector, but you may find little or no difference. |
