| Member | Baikal IJ-70 I just purchased a Baikal IJ-70. I paid $200 dollars for it. It is in real good shape. Was this a good price? I know I should have asked before I bought it, but I was at an auction and had to decide right then. Is this a good example of a Makarov? |

| Senior Member | Good deal...great shooting little beast. What came with it, if anything. I purchased mine in 1994 for about what you paid ($225) with holster and extra magazine. It appears they are holding a reasonable value. Don't hog it out, it's a nice piece in its' orginal condition. |

| Senior Member | the rear sight assembly is rather fragile there is an aftermarket nonadjustable replacement that is rather well made. the adjustment screw is known to go flying off at the most inoppurtune moment too. lock tite the screw
