How cold is it? if its freezing cold the screen may not work in the cold weather. Or if it has a fuseable link to the screen from the engine ( somwhere in the wireingharness) check to see if power is there. Not sure if that helps but its a start. |

How cold? I drove my uncles foreman around during christmas (after snowblowing it out and putting it inside for an hour) but the screen worked when i turned it on before putting it inside. Also when i was driving it (-20's) the screen never failed. Id try warming it up first though before trying to figure out a wiring prob.

I suspect you have a wiring/fuse poblem like a couple guys have said. Do you have a pull start? I suspect you don't. I never use the electric start in the cold. The pull start is definitely better in the really cold weather. I had it on a 425cc engine and found a pull start was king. When I got the 700 twin I also went with the backup pull start. This cold is getting old hat. I've had to plug my truck in a few nights even and it's been years since I've had to do that.
