CZ .308 VS. Coyotes

So I got my new gun in last saturday. Ive been sick the past few days and wasnt sure i would get to hunt, but i sucked it up and went anyway. I got out on my land and walked the creek for a bit, then seen 3 coyotes about 200 yards away. i started calling them in. one went around behind me to the south about 50 yards, so i shot him first. the other one was to my right about 100 yards so i popped him next. the third one got out of there pretty quick and i didnt have time to take a shot at him. So far im very pleased with this new gun. its pretty damn sweet and it left a good sized hole coming out of the bigger coyote. well anyway, just thought id share.

Very nice CZ, what scope do you have there?

Way to go! good calling and shooting.Really the holes are low and I sew them up to stretch the pelt and dry it and seldom get docked much because it is only the darker part they use.As long as they are stretched right that is all that counts. sam.

the scope is a simmons 44 mag 3-10x that ive had for about 7 years. i took it off my 30-06 and put it on the CZ until i can get a new scope. so far im lookin at getting either the Leupold VX-I 4-12x40mm, or the Nikon Buckmasters 4.5-14x40. any thoughts or suggestions about these scopes or any others that might be good for this gun. I dont want to spend over $300. and thanks for the info sam.

just so u guys know, i tried to post a couple times with links to these scopes at opticsplanet but i guess they have to be approved by a moderator first or something like that, so they didnt post. if they pop up tomorrow, ill delete them and clean up my double posts.
