I've never been hunting, shot a 30'06, or had any major interaction with firearms... However: I would think that if you shot it in the right place, maybe with a FMJ round, it could go all the way through. Two, same size enter and exit holes. But don't take my word for it. >.> I'm a freshman in Highschool that doesn't hunt stuff... So yeah... ^_^' That's my two cents. |

Many bullet companies make 110 bullets for the 06 and they should work ok. If you don't want anything left of what you shoot then the 30 carbine plinker at the higher vel. just evaporate some game however the also sometimes explode half way to the target. They had a write up in the gun mags on this subject a few years back and i tried it with only some success. I am going to load 110 gr. in my Russian 7.62x54r this week and hope the weather lets me see how this works out.
