V for Vendetta was ok, I like the premise, but I didn't like the "fantasy" type aspect of the movie, it was a bit obscure in presentation. Would have been better done as a reality-type movie. Of course "V" is a Comic Character, right? So I guess the way it was done was because of that.

I thought Shooter was the better of the 2 movies , particularly the way politics were portrayed. Thats all I'll say so as not to reveal anything for those who have yet to see either film.

Shooter was a great movie. I am really looking forward to seeing Vantage Point too. Kind of a new-age JFK Assassination type deal.

You may also be interested in "The Death of an American President" where the American President is a Bush look-a-like and is assassinated. I haven't seen it, but I want to. Our Govt. didn't let the movie be released here in the US on the big-screen because it was shortly after 9/11 (the Muffle Factor?). But it was released in Britain and can be bought off of Amazon.com
