| I also am new at coyote hunting, never even killed one yet actually. I am planning on hittin the woods in the morning, hope for better luck lol. I actually use a 223 wssm sometimes, or a 22 mag, although it is similar to the 17 as it is only good under about 100 yards. I had a 223 and loved it. I think about any 223 is decent. As far as price you can get some pretty good single shots cheap and 1 shot is about all you will ever get so you might as well go for it. good luck |
