| I need backup.... Conscious attacking.
Hello again, I was wondering if I could ask you all your opinion on a rifle I recently bought. I feel like it was too good to pass up but I didn't really need it. I already have a Remington 700 BDL Deluxe. I recently bought a Remington 700, Mcmillan Stock, Glass Bedded, Non-Checkered Bolt Handle, and some kind of trigger work. Also some kind of bolt release mod was put on it as well. You dont use the bolt release by the trigger anymore. Its a pin that comes out the left side of the reciever. Anyhow... All that for $675... I really think thats a no brainer. Now do I keep my other Remington 700? Both are in .270 Thanks for the input -Skat |

I dont recall having ever sold a gun, regardless of how many are of the same caliber. Now, if you need some cash or maybe want to get something else with the proceeds, sell it.

My advise would be that if you have just purchased a firearm at a great price. Shoot it before you sell something else to keep that one. I have more times than I care to admit bought a firearm that I thought was a great deal only to find that it had some problems that were expensive to fix. Sometimes people sell rifles that they have modified because they will not shoot. So shoot your new rifle before selling anything. You may find that the one you want to sell is the one you just bought. Been there. Done that. Bought the T-shirt then lost the shirt. JMHO

| Test the guns
Spend some time at the range with a wide variety of loads. In the end it will be the most accurate gun that matters. If you are under no financial pressure then keep them both for now. You never know when a great trade opportunity might pop up. |

Thanks for the help all. Been to the range with it and it's definitely the more accurate of the 2. Haven't found anything yet of concern. I'll definitely hold onto the other .270 for now. Thanks for the backup. -Skat |
