| East Coast Boars Does anyone have suggestions for a east coast boar hunt (guided or unguided)? If anyone has had good experiences with guides on the east coast I would be interested in hearing about it. I am trying to put together a trip for my dad, brother, and me, that won't break the bank and is fair chase. Thanks for your insight! |

| hey there baltimorelaw, look in mountaians and coast of NC. i was gonna do a hunt in the mts around Boone NC on a guided public land hunt. Ill see if i cant find the gys info. lots of guides up there and compared to all other hunting was cheap. They also just opened a bear sanctuary to hunting for the first time im 13 years. Its on public land in national forest. Go on NC regulations pages for hunting. its listed there, and no special permits or anything! hike in camp hunt and carry out your game if so lucky!

| Baltimorelaw, Two buddies and I went to Ga. in 06 on our 1st boar hunt and had a BLAST! All fair chase, lodging and meals on a 800ac place. Deer and boar both in good numbers, so in the right times of the year, a combo hunt is possible as well.(turkey and boar also, I believe) P.M. for the info if you're interested. We would have gone back this past year as well, but the place was shut down as the manager was deployed to Afghanistan. We tried another place...not even close! We're already chomping at the bit ourselves about returning this year after NOONE hunting for over 18 months at all! |

| My wife is trying to drag me to the outter banks during sept. I just might go, if there are any boars to hunt in the area. Does any one know how far I would have to travel? and more importantly, what will I tell the wife I was doing when I sneak back in smelling of the hunt, with a cooler full of pork? |
