First SKS Build

So...not quite finished. Have a stock saddle coming and want to upgrade to a Harris type bipod. But I think I'm getting there!

You'll like the Tapco stock. I put my Yugo in an Olive Drab Tapco stock a while back, and I love it. Haven't had a single jam in the 300+ rounds I've shot since I put mine together. Those magazines are simply awesome. Congrats on your SKS.

I found an SKS for a little over 100. The stock was in poor shape and that is why it was so low. This may be a great way to modify it! Just hope it is still there.

It's a Yugo. What problems I don't see is what worries me as well. Sometimes it is a bad stock that tells hidden tales.

first build

Sharp as a tack. Not too much "bling", and its got an angry look to it. Let us know how the stock works after you tear down and clean it a few times.
