| P-14 Eddystone 1917
My buddy has an old rifle that he took shooting and the stock cracked right behind bolt. We were trying to do some identification and came up with some questions... This rifle is 30.06 with a sporter stock The stamp reads US model 1917 Eddystone 199753 I thought i read that the P-14 and this were pretty much the same? possibly be able to swap stocks? thank you |

The major difference is that the P-14 was chambered for the British .303 round, the 1917 for the U.S. 30-'06 round.

| They are not the same
as the magazine wells are different due to the difference in the .303 vs the 30'06
