K-31 Sling

I am brand new to K-31's, and was wondering if there is a link, or photo that displays a correctly attached sling? Thanks

Hey Steve, I'm new too so I'm instead of starting a new thread I thought I'd throw my question on here. Hell, maybe you can answer it.

How do you adjust the front sight? There's no screw or anything. The only thing that I can think of is to tap on it but I didn't want to start going to town on it before asking around. Thanks.

Beats the sand outta me! Like I said, I'm a newbie to this great rifle. But do not worry! There will be a bunch of people jumping on this thread! That's the GREAT thing about this site! We are AWESOME when it comes to answering even the most basic of questions. By the way, welcome to G&G my friend! North Cackalacky! I spent 3 LOOOOONG years there as a guest of Uncle Sam...

Farmer- Thanks again. I found pictures and instructions on 2 different sites, so I finally got it right!

Poster- There is a front sight tool! They are hard to find, and expensive! I have read that it can be punch-drifted carefully.
There are many kinds of tools, and I have a pic, but can't post pics for some reason. Go to SWISSDAGGER and scroll down on the left nav bar to front sight adjusters.

Thumbs up

Roger on the sling!
As to the front sight - I used a drift punch, carefully! The slot is angled, but works just like a dove tail.

Well, I didn't find one Joe, so I guess I'll have to add that to my daily search.
