| New Model 60 For My Daughter Me traded in my daughter's 802 Plinkster for a Marlin Model 60 and she loves it! We should have gone with this gun in the first place. It was well worth the few extra bucks, and I would recommend it highly over those imported P.O.S. Mossberg is offering. ![]()

| Thats a good trade. I dont have a modle 60 but ive shot them they are pretty fun. You cant really go wrong with marlin from what I have been told. My dad still has his marlin lever action .22 he had from a kid so that rifle is over 60 years old. I cant stand mossberg they seem very cheaply made and my dad bought him self a over under mossberg siver reserve shot gun and on the first time we went out skeet shooting it broke. It fired both barrels at once a few times and the cheap safty came off. My dad took it to a local gun smith whos said he has about 6 of those shotguns with the same problem. |

| I have had the #60 in stainless steel, for several years, and it's an excellent rifle. I have a small scope on it, and it shoots "dead on". Have had a 30-30 model 336 since 1957, and it also is a very good rifle. |

| I have the Marlin 60SB - stainless barrel and birch stock. Great little rifle! It puts my Ruger 10-22 to shame. More accurate, more reliable - and just plain FUN!!
