454 Casull Muzzlebrake,Port ?????? I have a 454 Casull in the encore pistol 12' barrel; any thoughts or suggestions on how to tame this bad boy down. As I get a little more "mature/old" I just don't want to be the hero any more and take it. I have purchased a Pachymar decelerator grip for it and hope it helps. Thanks guys in advance, daddus1

Get it Mag-Na-ported. Will help with recoil. Mag-Na-Port Intl.

Just my 2 cents worth but simple physics would tend to move all the driving force straight back into your hands & wrist with the mag port as opposed to the muzzle flip that you probably have now. Guess it also depends on what your using it for, hunting or target. I don't like getting "barked" when using a tree for a rest also

| spiritual counselor ![]() ![]() | i have the raging bull in that caliber. it is ported and while that helps KABOOM here is right. i DO NOT like shooting it from a rest because it piledrives me straight back. standing and shooting is great though. very little muzzle flip! a muzzle break would work for sure. but that would make an already VERY loud gun SUPER DUPER LOUD! go for it dude! p.s. get some killer hearing protection.

Mag-Na-Port is angled to pull gun forward and down. Both of my 454s are ported and it helped tremendously on recoil and muzzle flip.
