| Storm Lake Barrels? As mentioned in the title, I'm inquiring and looking for information on Storm Lake barrels for Glocks.
First off, I'm looking at getting the 4 port barrel to make use of the slide cut out on my G35 and to get better accuracy and then obviously better groupings. There not that bad now, just looking to improve.
Secondly, I'm wanting to know if the Storm Lake barrels are drop in or if some filing or modification is required.
So with that said, has anyone ever used a Storm Lake barrel in a Glock? What do you think of them? Did you have to do any filing or modifying, have a gunsmith install it or was it a simple drop in? According to Midways USA, it is a semi drop in barrel and requires a gunsmith to install it. Yet according to other websites I've found that sells them, they say they are drop in. Thus one of the reasons I'm looking for someone that may have bought one. To find out if it was semi drop in or straight drop in, and of course to get feedback as to all around opinion of this brand.
Thanks in advance.
