LOL, no I know that JAC. What I want to know when I say drop in, is if anything has to be filed in order to get the barrel to fit and function properly. Some after market barrels require some fitting. I need to know, from others that may have bought a Storm Lake barrel, is if they just dropped it in and started shooting or if they had to file a little to get it to fit and work or if they had to take it to a gunsmith to get this done. I know they drop in. lol

This is what it says at Midway for the barrel I'm looking at. It says it under technical specifications and use.
Material: 416 stainless steel

Features: Machined from solid barstock, tolerances held to +/- .001" in critical areas, finish heat treat is 40-42 Rockwell C hardness, cut broach rifling, left hand twist, six equal spaces.

Requires Gunsmithing: Yes, requires final fitting

Notes:
Barrel is oversize in lockup areas.

Other websites I've checked have said drop in, no fitting. In fact I even called Glockworld.com and asked them, they said drop in. However the EFK Fire Dragon barrels require fitting. I'm just trying to make sure before I buy. Because then if it requires a gunsmith, I'll have to spend more than I planned on. But I know they just drop in the gun. lol It just may not fit properly is why I ask JAC. lol
