CAN ANYONE GIVE ME MORE INFO ON THE RECIEVER OF MY 243 MAUSER? IT'S STAMPED WITH THE KINGDOM OF YOGOSLOVIA SEAL OVER THE 1924 STAMP . HOW OLD DO YA THINK IT IS? SEEMS 2 WORK GREAT. |

Sounds like you have a .243 win. built on a yogosolvian vz 24 action, it is a good action and if it was built properly it should shoot very well and last a couple of life times, without the serial no. don't know what year it was built however it is well over 70 years old. i'm sure some of the much more knowlegable mauser people onn the forum can give you more info. steve

I stand corrected on one part the vz24 is a czech., however it is a large ring this i know for sure because i have it laying right here in front of me but i cant tell what year because i sent it off and had it color case hardened and it took all the crest and dates off the ring. steve
