9mm barrel

I HAVE A CZ 52 AND WONDER IF ANYONE HAS THE AFTERMARKET 9MM BBL ON THEIR'S. IF SO WHERE DID YOU PURCHAS IT AND HOW WELL DOES IT SHOOT. THEY ARE HARDER TO COME BY AND ARE NOT CHEAP SO I'M WONDERING IF THEY ARE WORTH CHASING AFTER AT ALL. I LIKE MY CZ BUT IT`S TOO POWERFUL TO USE AS A CARRY GUN THAT'S WHY I THOUGHT THE 9MM BBL MIGHT BE THE WAY TO GO.

Welcome to G&G!!! Firstly, I don't have one of the 9mm barrels myself but I have researched them for quite a while. The only problems I've heard of has been some failures to feed, usually with HP ammo. Also, remember that you would need an entire roller/cam set to go with one.

My shooting buddy has installed one in one of his CZ52's. It hangs up occasionally, but shows promise - maybe just needs to wear in?
He ordered the roller and locking block set to make a complete 'drop-in' set while retaining the original barrel set - but after several months, the parts haven't arrived from Makarov.com!
I have the 9mm barrel too, but have not ordered the parts to complete it, since the source isn't reliable. I'm thinking of getting a second pistol and setting it up for 9mm. I like the 7.62X25, and want to keep it functional.
