LarryO1970...question about your avatar

Your avatar appears to be a very solemn moment. I was wondering if you would share this with the rest of us?

Actually... it was at about 0730 after working 3rd shift... and was just trying to stay awake enough to drive home.

It was one of those group pictures nobody wants to be in ... I'm pretty sure most of us have HAD to be in these pictures... one way or another.

... nothing special.

Haaaaaa...very good.

Working the grave yard sucks for sure. I still have to do it. We had a new hire last night 1st time on grave yard I told, "You'll be alright kid, you won't crap for three days until you body recovers from the shock of being up all night but you'll get used to it."

Haaaaaaaaa...he had to pull a 12 hour shift last night, we had a major derailment he had to help clean up. He'll be dead meat when I see him tonight.

LOL ... probably. Drink lots of coffee and stay busy, the nights will fly on by. Before you know it... the sun will be coming up.

The hardest part of 3rd shift is family and social gatherings. If he's a young buck, he'll just miss out on years of drinking... which is probably not so bad in retrospect.

I've just passed 15 years in the USAF ... and about 90% of it on 3rd shift. Most of the time, finding myself in the wrong place at entirely the wrong time.

I know it well...
