ya know, my wife just had to get a freakin MAC!!!!!!!!!! I must not be smart enough to operate this #$#%^%&*^&#$#%^$%^$^& thing. Im so p'oed right now. I cant load a pic to save my tail!!!!!!!!!!! i got on here to relax and now im so mad i could wake her up and make her do it! In the words of my esteemed grandfather " Jesus H Christ Mildred fix the damn thing!" but he always meant the vcr! and tv!

Don't worry Skat its just like most things i life you have to keep trying and keep learning and end the long run it will pay off it took me 56 years before i get my first really big deer, don't loose heart it will happen for you. Just my opinion.

thanks steve, its also the area i hunt.. badly over hunted. Its the only zone in NY that has the 3 points one side rule.

my biggest trophy would have to be my second buck i ever shot, he was a nice 10 pointer i shot him while i was stalking with my rem 700 243

my first deer was my biggest. a 13 pointer( dang it no pic). shot it with a 7mm mag when i was 6( i ain't kidding) dropped him like a sack of hammers

Best so far...

1st pic is of my first dall ram that I took in '95 in the Brooks range. Shot him at 375 yards with a 270 win.
2nd pic is of a bull moose I took in 2006 with a Winchester model70 375 H&H at roughly 180 yards.

Thanks, he wasn't the biggest moose i ever shot but he was my first float hunt moose. He had been attacked by what I think was a grizzly bear, he had a big chunk of meat missing from his right hindquarter but it had healed up pretty good, nasty looking though. We caught him walking down the riverbed like he had lost his best friend and he never saw us. 3 shots from the 375 ended his run of bad luck.

Here is the only animal ive scored with decent headgear
A Wild Billy Goat his horns measured 26inches tip to tip a real trophy is 30 + plus inches here.He was shot at about 200yrds with a 270 using 130gr handloads
