| I am not sure why they happen. Some say it's because GLOCK's have an unsupported chamber at the feed ramp. Mine is 3d GEN and has as much support as any handgun. I have also been told not to reload fired brass from a GLOCK but I do and have had no problems.
I believe part is user fault and maybe bad reloads. There may well be some bad GLOCK firearms made, no company is perfect but if the company was found at fault they would be sued to death in todays society.
I have a 23 and 27, I have had them less than six months and have 1,800 rounds thru the 23 and close to 1,100 thru the 27 with one failure to feed in the 27 due to a bad round. I trust my GLOCk's and use them for concealed carry and plinking.
Over half the rounds I have fired were reloads, but not maxed out and I used my fired brass. I have also used plated bullets using starting load data for bullet type.
By the way my GLOCK's like 165gr JHP's best.
Some use lead bullets but they must be hardcast and I would say with a gas check and check for leading quite often, and not loaded to the max.
