Thats easy for you to say sam and i hope you are right.Always good to know somebody else who hates the ferals.But as a youth me and my mate used to go out with my old man every friday and saturday night to the local bush dumps and start WW3 on the local ferals.Some nights we would smash well over 30 cats and that was the normal rate until the dumps set up revolve.Which is a recycling place.I am not bragging but i have shot into the thousands when it comes to cats.Thats not including the ones i have trapped.I dont know how old you are,i have respect for my elders you know this.Its like saying how long is a piece of string? until you really know hey mate.IF i was out and had a trophy anything in my sights and saw a feral cat i WILL shoot the cats EVERYTIME no matter what.I dont mind people having pet cats,infact ive even met a few cats i even liked.My uncle was living in a shack in a fruit orchard in Ardmona in Victoria.My mother sent me to saty with him when i got to 15 years old.I was a bit of a handfull after my parents split.We had a brood of feral cats living under the shack.Four cats plus mum.Three were ginger tabbys and one pure black bar the tiger stripes in the sunlight.We caught him and tamed him.What an awesome cat.In winter it used to get bloody cold and the toilet was an outside dunny.The cats name was pud and he would sit between your ankles and keep them warm no matter how bad the stink was.I used to shoot sparrows and starlings with the air rifle.Pud loved them,i gave them to him and he would pull the head off first.Almost like a bit of candy ahhahahahhahah.The feral cat population over here is estimated at around 15 million.They are the perfect hunter not needing water like most others do.They have the skills and reflexes to be the best.The feral cats range right out into the desert country and are a menace on a lot of our native critters of smaller sizes.The only good feral cat is a dead one.Or as i usually say better dead and red.
