Congrats on your new rifle. Very nice rifle and excellent caliber, in my opinion. Many enthusiasts say a serious hunter should spend as much as possible on "good glass" or even that one should spend as much on it...as on the rifle. Somewhere in between there is likely a good compromise between a "package" scope and a "several hunderd dollar" one. I'd suggest using what came with your rifle for a while, and if you like the rifle, you might want to upgrade a bit to a known quality brand scope. Actually Bushnell does make some excellent quality scopes in their "Elite" line and other names such as Nikon (Prostaff) and Weaver(Classic V series) are quality scopes that can be depended on for years and can be found at pretty good prices. Here's a link to a retailer with a closeout special on what is a good deal on a VERY good scope. I own 2 of the Busnell badged 3200 3-9x40s and they are a tremendous value.
