What do you consider the limit for the 7mm WSM? I say Brown Bear.

while there may be some better choices for some game, it will kill anything that walks the face of this planet.

Depends what you think takes more to kill. Personally i think an elk would take more to kill but a bear has less room for error. Another point on the whole bear issue is that when you look at the sub-premium grade of bullets do they not day that they are meant for deer/bear? Also there was a thread not to long ago asking if a 25-06 could kill a bear. Albeit its not the best but people supported it. THerefore i would believe a 7mm wsm could easily do it.

As the limit, I understand that to be the PRACTICAL limit not the overall limit. Surely we'll find one or two who profess to know someone who stopped a charging grizzley with a .22 magnum which makes it the LIMIT for a .22. Thay being said, I'd say a typical moose or elk is tougher to kill than a typical black bear. Grizzley is in it's own class and requires a prudent person to use something OVER .30 cal as a suitable minimum. So, my opinion is that the moose is the limit for a planned use of the 7mmWSM.
