I have a Navy Arms converted No.1 Mark 3 to 45/70. I need a monte carlo sporter stock either new or used. I have machined a base, mounted a scope and need a monte carlo stock[i have a ram line plastic that is junk] in wood. I can not find a source for a stock, can anyone help on a wood stock ? Many thanks J T Jones PS I am using this for black bear in Canada. |

Unfortunately it appears that Boyd's has dropped the Enfield line of wood stocks. Ramline stocks leave a lot to be desired. All I could find was the ATI stocks which are synthetic; I've got one on my Hi-Point 955 Carbine and it is excellent, I've got one on my Marlin Model 60 and it is nice....Check out their reviews not all are for the Enfield stock..Cabela's -- Advanced Technology (ATI) .303 Enfield Stocks If you are going to hunt Bear with an altered No.1MkIII please shoot the heck out of it with the rounds you are gonna carry. Shoot in several positions and make sure it functions 100% before you take it hunting such a potential predator. |
