| Do you have the correct magazine in it or for it? Don't know so have to ask and try all possibilities since we weren't there. Generally, the only reason the slide stays open is when the mag. is out of ammo or the wrong mag is/was used. If you maybe tried a 15 rounder in a 10 rounder or a 10 rounder in a 15 rounder. Not sure what model mags work with what. Some can take both but I don't know which those are. Maybe I'm wrong and they all can shoot 10 or 15 rounders. But I think there are a few that don't.
