Okay, I was told to bring EAA into here because the Witness was designed based off of the CZ 75.

Do you have any EAA firearms? Lets see what everyone has, wants, and thinks about them!

Mine is in the Avatar, a Witness Custom Gold Team 45 ACP with C-More sights.

My EAA Witness Target is the favorite of my hanguns. Perfectly reliable and even I am accurate with it!

Personally, if I could afford another gun right now, I'd love to pick up a steel-framed compact Witness in 10mm. I've heard with a stiffer spring, they fix the reliability issues reported with them and are designed excellently around that powerful cartridge.

I brough a witness in .45 auto and it came with a .22 barrel
a couple of years later, I tried the .22 barrel on the gun. it is one of the most accurate and relibiable .22's on the market. There's only two guns that I would put above the witness .22, one's a CZ kidet and the other's a S&W model 41.
Friends and I put almost 500 rounds through the witness .22 one after noon and the gun only started having problems at the end of the shooting session. (ok, the CZ .22 is just as good or better.) and yes, i like them both.
And the main thing to like is that you clean the .22 just like you would the .45 it was built for (and the CZ on it's 9mm frame) and you have a double action or single action pistol. with what ever safty the gun has on it.

I have a Witness P Compact in .45 caliber. To put it simply, I love it. Easy to carry, low weight due to polymer lower, accurate straight out of the box, and EAA has conversion kits to change to .22, 9mm, and .40 calibers. Since I use this gun for my league shooting also, I can use the 9mm conversion to save money on lead and still get to practice with the gun I carry. Very good gun for the price, 1911 - $900, Witness compact - $400.

I too have a Witness P Compact .45acp. I find it easy to carry. The only problem I had was fixed by polishing the feed ramp. I'm curious about other's and their sight picture. On mine with the three dots aligned, it shoots about 2" low @ 20 ft, and about the same closer in. I haven't shot it enough to determine if the bullet is on the rise or flat, but if I put the dots in a triangle or cover the target with the front sight it hits POA @ 20 ft. Any one have any feed back? I have thought about getting some adjustable sights, but thats as far as I've gotten, just thinking. Lets hear from others.

I have a Witness Poly Fullsize in 10mm and love it. A pistolero at the local gunshop put some Wolf springs on mine and it sure helped out quite a bit. He said that it wold also reduce wear on the poly frame as well.
