| Member | Now that I have your attention. I would like to know if anyone can date my H&R Topper M48 20gauge. I have the serial#, but I guess that should not be posted in public. If someone knows how to do this I could give you the number privately or let me know which digit is needed. Lee |

| Senior Member | Not necessarily a bad thing... A friend of mine's sister is quite the hottie and is now working for a local PD down in TN. I met her twice and she's perfect for me... but lives on the other side of the country. ![]()

| Senior Member | WBILLYLEE 03 The topper No. 48 was made 1946-1957 serial no. prefix "G" For 1946 "H" for 1947 "I" for 1948 "J" For 1949 K...50 L ....51 M.....1952 ......N....53.....P.....54.......R....55....S..... 56 T......57........... Since you put a M 48 there i think its a 1952, But not positive. Moose or Sam could verify better........ |

| Member | Wow guys lots of interest in my sister and very little in the gun, I would have thought I was in the wrong forum if Earl Easter hadn't spoke up. I was only kidding about the Tenn. stuff, part of my family has migrated down there, and I have met many hotties there. Earl thanks for the info, the serial # is prefixed with a H, so I guess it's from 1947. This was my Dad's first shotgun that he got when he was 12, it was used so we didn't know when it was made. I got my Topper 26 yrs later when I was 12. Sorry Mike82, Earl was more informative I'll tell my sis about him, but I do have an ugly step-sister that I'll introduce to ya. Thanks guys Lee |

| Senior Member | Hey Lee Did'nt mean to breaks the jokes i certainly am not the expert. I try to help some folks that i feel somewhat confident in comments. Its that i really like the shotguns, hunting and most of all small game hunting. I sure made a few blunders as i went over my head sometimes but they were small ones, and not life threatening, which a few of the fellas cleaned up. More than a bundle of times those fellas have made mistakes also, i keep my pie hole shut and say, well those guys can make mistakes too. There has been many comments that are way off base and i sure stay away from those.... Yep i would be interested in your sister but i'm married with three old youngins LOL........... Make the offer back to Mike82 he seems like a good guy with some humor.. All of you fellas have a good weekend and make sure to get some lead flying at the targets that is.........earl................ Last edited by Earl Easter; 03-28-2008 at 08:00 AM.
