prices

ok i know no one likes these questions but...... is $280 to much for a german makorav? its at my local gunshop, the reason im not sure is that this gunshop tends to over price things, they are not trying to do any a favor, in general im not happy with them. they hold a local monopoly and becouse of that feel they can do whatever theywant. they also charge $45 dollers for a ffl tranfer. and wont do it at all for a gun they have in stock. anyway...... i guess the question is should i wait and try to get a better price at one of the local gunshows?

little steep but prices are subjective to where you live.

Are you emotionally wedded to the East German pistol or do you simply like Makarovs? I think you could do better on gunbroker.com, and gunbroker does have an FFl finder for arranging transfers. I'd bet there is someone in your area that has a more reasonable transfer fee.

Go for it. That's not a bad price. If it's clean and bluing is good, also will they allow payments to be made, up to two or three months.

Take Care
