That is the gun my Dad used for rabbit hunting. He sold it a few yrs. ago, it still looked like new except a little finish wear on the stock. He bought it right after I was born in '69.

If you can't find what your looking for would you consider one of these ? It's an exact copy of the model 870 Remington that Marlin H&R-NEF is importing. I bought the 20ga. model and the fit and finish is as good as it's gonna get. The reviews have been phenominal of these pump shotguns and the parts interchange with 870's. I paid $160.00 for mine but another member says he paid less....A.H PardnerŪ Pump Walnut ModelPardnerŪ Pump WalnutAmmo12 Gauge (NP1-228)Order Online 20 Gauge (NP1-206)StockAmerican Walnut with grooved fore-end and ventilated recoil pad.Barrel28" (12 Ga); 26" (20 Ga)ChamberUp to 3"Magazine Capacity5 (3-shot plug furnished)SightsBead front; drilled and tapped for scope baseChokeScrew-in ModifiedLength48-1/8" (12 Ga.) 46-1/8" (20 Ga.)Length of Pull14-1/4"Drop at Comb1-1/2"Drop at Heel2-1/2"Weight7-1/2 lbs.Owner's ManualDownload Owner's Manual Last edited by ArkansasHunter; 03-21-2008 at 12:44 AM.

You shouldn't have much trouble finding a Remington 870 if you look around. Last I checked, Cabelas might have had a sale selling them at about $270. My freind got one this last fall on sale at Cableas for 239, which I thought was a great deal.
