| Now the happy owner of an M39, I can tell you that the Finns crafted, rather than manufactured their rifles, and the front and rear sights are head-and-antlers above the Russian version. So I'm not surprised that Hayha (a true marksman) could shoot with the stock iron sights at several hunderd meters.
My eyes are nowhere near that good, but I can't wait to get the M39 cleaned up, finish healing, and get my butt (and the rest of me with it) out to the range. |
