All things considered, if I had to go into combat with a bolt action, all else being equal I think I'd take a Mosin-Nagant rifle over a Mauser 98K or even a Springfield. They're not as pretty as the other two, but lordy, do they shoot![/quote]

CY, I will agree that them Finn rifles can shoot. But it would be hard for me to choose any other standard military rifle of that time over my 03A3. Them things can shoot too![/quote]
if i had to use a bolt from that time i would go with the enfield.
