17hmr problem

I got my dad a bolt action 17hmr for christmas this last year. The clip keeps moving down just enough so it miss feeds. You have to put upward pressure on it to get it to feed properly, the bottom of the clip wants to slide off also. Has any body had this problem with this gun?

mossberg has a very good customer service dept. i would contact them and let them correct the problem for you. just my opinion.
