| Good luck, most guys will keep their old books forever. I know I will. There are a lot of good manuals out there, visit your local gun shop. They really aren't all that expensive. |

| Wasn't really concerned about the price. Local gun shop doesn't carry reloading books |

| Might I suggest checking book stores, the ones that primarily handle used books that is. Sometimes people donate relatives/spouses/family etc.etc.etc. stuff after they pass away. Just a thought.

| I had a bood I think was titled "Getting Started In Reloading", but that was 30 years ago, it did have a lot of good info for a beginner. RCBS makes a video, I would assume it's worthwhile: Handloading Video (VHS) |

| If after you get the first book and decide you want to pursue reloading, get 3 or 4 or 5 or more manuals based on the bullets you have interest in. The more the merrier ! |

| Midway has the Lee reloading manual listed for $14. It has several large sections in the front that are on the basics of reloading, followed by reloading information for various calibers. If you go to Amazon and put "reloading" in the search bar, you get a lot of titles back. Go through and find inexpensive ones. For $30-40 you can get 3 or 4 different books. But, if you buy from individuals instead of Amazon, you pay s&h on each book. However, you can get used books from individuals at prices so that even with the cost of s&h, sometimes the price is still really low. And, when you get to the point of wanting load books, the "Loadbooks USA" are compilations of the different major reloading manuals that are single caliber books. They are normally around $7 at Midway, and sometimes are on sale. The websites for the different powder companies also have downloadable manuals for their powders. Sometimes they're limited on the calibers they offer, but what they have is free and up to date. |

| I got my four books from a used book store called Half Price Books and they came rather cheaply. I got one published by the NRA in 1981 and even the "ABC's of Reloading".
