easy AR reliability mod.
1 remove front sight
2 discard weapon
3 replace with ak
4 tighten front sight

I have been shooting military M-16s and commercial ARs for decades, in conditions ranging from dusty, to tropical, to very cold. I cannot recall any malfunctions that were not cured by cycling the operating handle once, and precious few of those. I have never had to resort to the forward assist. I am more or less diligent about keeping the rifles cleaned and lubricated. Why does the AR need reliability enhancement?

its a joke , and also aks are reliable , ars are reliable < if you have time to clean them every 36 hours

I really enjoy the friendly jabs back and forth. Of course we all know that the only thing billy hits is the floor with his empty brass
rfc357, I think we sucked you in on this thread
We are all shooters and gun owners, that's the important part. I enjoy going to the range, having people look at my junk and shoot it, then I get to shoot their junk.
