Assembling an 03/A3

Hi guys, my first post on this forum. I bought a beautiful walnut C stock for my 03/A1 but then decided not to change the original scant stock, the only thing that had bugged me about it was a very ugly repair on the hand guard, once I replaced that I realized I loved the scant. So I decided to build a new A3 with the new stock. I have an A3 action I bought from Sarco and a host of small hardware I have been acquiring but I need a barrel and a lot more parts. I was thinking the best route to go was to buy the A3 kit from Sarco with the included $99. unused, 2 groove barrel. This will make me whole as far as parts are concerned but the sticking point is getting the barrel on. Gun smiths are few and far between here, the old timers having died or quit and nobody new showing up to take their place. I assume I will have to find an out of town smith and ship him my rifle. Can anyone reccommend a good gunsmith who can do this type of work or point me to a resource where I could locate one myself (please don't say Goggle). My A1 is my best shooter and I can't wait to experience the A3.
Thanks

Telephone or visit some of the gun ranges about an hour away from SF and you should be able to find out from them who is reliable. It is not usually a difficult job, and any real gunsmith should have no problem putting that barrel on properly.

If they haven't closed all the ranges down! Try:
National Gunsmiths Association, LLC and look for the Registry. Also:
