I generally am a slower driver than my wife... sometimes the New England temper comes out (when someone does something very stupid behind the wheel) and I'll put the pedal to the floor... but rarely.

I always leave early to be on time... and hate to be late. Maybe that is the military or the values impressed on me by my parents growing up in Connecticut.

In all reality... the only time saved speeding is heading cross country.
