help with tapco

I bought a tapco stock today and I cannot remove the wood hand guard I found the pin and I use a punch to try to remove the pin but it will not move will someone please help me

You sound stressed. I can feel your pain.

Soak it is WD-40 overnight and set it aside. Tomorrow you will feel a bit more patient and the damn thing might have loosed up. Sometimes it's like they epoxy that thing in place with their metal coating.

Rest assured it will come off. I've switched out my gas tube cover and my Dad's multiple times. Just get a good punch and lay into it! Be sure you're hitting it nice and square though.
