Since I already have a nice example of an original Mosin Nagant and my conscience is clean, I have decided that I would like to make a project out of another Mosin rifle. I would like to take a nice action and bore (original stock or not) and with a little work turn the rifle into a decent medium to long range rifle ( about 200 to 500 yards and beyond). My question for you ladies and gents is this: Is this a realistic plan? Is it possible to take a mass produced Nagant and make it reach out farther, more accurately? Any suggestions?
