Fell off a wagon and broke a tibia across a wagon toung.
broke rib falling out of tobacco barn
cow stomped foot
many cuts and bruises.
So much of our farming was fairly low budget alow tech and dangerous.
I saw Dad jamb a tobacco spear all the way through his lover palm and out the other side. Brother almost lost an arm to a chain saw.
I worked so hard at that stuff I had trouble keeping weight on when I was a teenager.
I'd never want to go back to that sort of life unless I just had too.
