I broke my arm bad enough that it had to be set while I was put under. The ulna and radius both broke, and tension in the tendons made my arm about 1 inch shorter. That was fun. I've a few toes, and a finger once. I've also lost enough skin on my knee cap to see in detail how my knee works (biking accident). That was pretty cool. It's a shame that I passed out though. |

Several fingers (lost tip of one), left foot, nose, skull (twice), several bones in rt. hand, and busted my left kneecap. I've also set my left hand on fire w\lighter fluid, had 27 stitches in the back of my head, had a sliver of steel removed from my rt index finger and currently have two pieces of steel buried in my right palm as of Saturday. There are a few more, but I can't remember them at the moment.

OK, OK, I will chime in. Crushed right ankle, two pins still in place. Broken right Radius, and left ulna. Dislocated third finger on right hand. Broken nose is why I decided to quit fighting. Several broken toes because I have no balance.

One of my legs is pretty thoroughly pinned together. It was done before bugle-headed deck screws were available, or that's probably what they'd have used instead. I also broke one fingertip into three pieces by accidentally jamming it into the seam between two wrestling mats, and having a 220-lb guy land on it with his chest. I was teaching him how to arch his back, throw his legs back and land on anyone trying a double leg tackle on him. Hell of a time for him to finally get it right... I wasn't about to lose a varsity letter, so I taped it for the rest of the season and told any curious coaches and referees I'd sprained it. And I kept gauze under the tape, to catch the blood that oozed through the skin during matches. Yeah, I was an idiot; it's still shaped funny. That's about it, except for assorted fingers, toes and ribs. And my nose a couple of times of course, but I had help both times with that...

I fractured my arm, popped my knee out, and broke a finger. Out of all of those, the knee was the worst, it never seemed to heal 100%.

Nose quite a few times, last time I near smashed it off my face. Skull couple times. Little finger once, I smashed the knuckle part between the little and ring finger last december, its barely better now. ( I tripped climbing into a loader ) I cracked my knee cap from about 4 o`clock across to 8 o`clock, went to work 4 days later.. Mistake. I can`t crouch at all, well I can, but getting up involves groaning a swearing. I rode bikes, did manual work etc..

I broke my elbow when i was 12, 2 metal plates and 10 screws put it back together. Other than that couple fingers , ankle , and 1 enormously painful BIG toe. Ya know I never realized much we use our big toe and it takes forever to heal. My step son (21) , he works for an electrical contracting company. Well last June he was working in a ditch pull line, and as he was bent over The idiot running the back hoe dropped the bucket on him.Folded him over ( chin to his feet ). It crushed his L1. The doctor did a wonderful job( of course pins and rods were in order) But it was a miracle he wasn't paralyzed. He recovered wonderfully and is back to work part time now. But , understandably , he hurts . and the whole situation just makes me mad. I mean for once he wasn't goofing off and he almost got killed. I had just talked him into getting rid of his crotch rocket m/c the week prior. |

No broken bones, not for lack of trying I guess I just roll with the punches. Had my heart broken many times though.

| Broke bone
A sideline tackle from the biggest guy on the team in the 9th grade. We still went on to get the title that year. Yeah, I was a real Al Bundy. When that leg started itching...
