The cocking piece should just slip off after turning 90 degrees like all other Mausers. If it still isn't off, try a few drops of penetrating oil in from the spring side overnight to loosen up the dried cosmoline or worse has the two glued together. I once put some Ballistol in my wife's jewelry cleaner with a sticky bolt, now she and I both have an ultrasonic cleaner, hers is new.
