I've had several requests to be "friends" with various g&g members, which I gladly accepted. A person can never have too many friends. There's plenty more members here whom I consider to be friends with, too. I'll probably not initiate the process... but will accept friendships with those who make the request.

I, too, like the feature. However, if you and I have not exchanged words or conversation, please don't send me a friend invite. It is a waste of your time and mine, and I won't accept you anyway.

Dang, I knew there was a reason I liked this forum. You can request friends!!! Is there a limit or can you request like say 10? I need some more new ones, all my imaginary friends are boring. ![]() |

the more friends the better the times - always love talking to all people - enjoy having many friends - makes a person feel rather loved and needed at times

I figure I need all the friends I can get but no you can not borrow any money. I enjoy talking with the many people on this forum, I am on several and this one is the friendliest. People have helped me with info on my stuff and understand what I am talking about unlike most of the rest of the world. Other people on other forums have taken offense at my humor or looked down their nose at my stuff because its not mint, but the people here are great and I would be glad to shoot with any of them. I am late 50's, life NRA, former gun safety trainer for the state, life member LEAA(Law Enforcement alliance of America) 34 years Am. Legion, 12 years in military, now retired. I have a wife, 2 children and 5 grandkids and I'm always glad to talk guns with anyone of good moral fiber and Billy too(just kidding Billy) Newhunterette if you ever come south to Minn. come shoot with us, we have lots of ammo and things that go boom. I like the feeling that this place is kinda like hanging out around a big campfire, drinking beer and smoking cigars with a bunch of buddies...

now Im all upset. nobody ever asked me to be a friend on here. now that i think of it, anywhere else for that matter! you people are mean. friendliest site!!!! Jk- ya'll do seem pretty tight round here. i agree it's a good thing. this board is my lil personal spot ya know, my kids don't bother me here, my employees can't bug me, wife actually likes it now that she sees woman are into guns, bows and hunting, and the friend list can make things a lil more relaxed and personal. just my perception anyway.

TT, not all of us Okies are trying to put out BS. Personally I think you are a very nice person, enjoy reading your posts, agree with most, occasionally disagree with one, and feel that G&G is better because you are here.

Hey KGunner I repect you and your a good member here but so are many many others too. When Chris added this feature I wondered about it and now I think it's a great idea ! You know if you've been here a while you do become friends, though a lot of us will never meet. We all share at least one thing in common and that would be firearms. Some times we have our spats on some subjects, but after a little while were all friends again. It truely is kinda like a family of people here and I sure like that and I hope the other members feel the same way. With me being a Christian I sure hope I meet a lot of the members here in Heaven some day ! Want that be fun...That will be Nice...Mike |

| thank you Bravo and I did add you to my friends list I am the type of person who will always see the good in someone no matter how hard they try to show the bad - my cup is half full and I live each day as it is dealt to me G&G has been a magical forum for me and I adore everyone I have had the chance to talk with in my short time here is there a limit as to how many can be added - I don't think you can ever limit friends in your life

Well, I will chime in. The first time I got a friend request from someone I hadn't talked to I felt VERY flattered! That told me that someone was reading my posts and the silliness I get involved in and found it humorous or informative or both! I like having friends! The more, the better. As long as they bring their own beer! LOL!!! BYW, I am a third generation Longhorn! BUT, I think basketball is a waste of a good dance floor! Not to mention wasting some great wide receivers! Them guys and gals are great athletes! But the game is still a waste of a good dance floor! ![]() ![]()
