| Two Beggars
Two beggars, lets just call them Manuel & Pedro spend all day begging outside one of the malls in Houston and every day Manuel comes home to his big mansion house with a suitcase full of $10 bills, whereas Pedro comes home to his trailer with hardly enough money to feed himself. Pedro eventually realises that he is doing something wrong and asks Manuel for advise.
Manuel says, "look at your sign, it's all wrong, it says, unemployed, wife & 12 children to support, please help".
If a redneck reads that, he'll think, "sheet, if I give him 10 bucks, he'll still be in the same position tomorrow, no better off, so I'll not bother!" Now look at my sign. It says,
"Only another $10 needed for my bus fare to the border"!!!! |
