| Tula M44??? Anybody remember which dealer the Tula M44s were in? I found one hidden in some Izzy's and need to know what the dealers are selling them for.

| Thor's Hammer ![]() | Still looking for some. Shows them as a "6" or "7" in rarity. EDIT: Found one old post. Sold for$200. EDIT: That's all I can find. EDIT:To locate a Tula made M44 Carbine is quite a find for the Mosin collector, as the Tula production was on such a small scale that many had questioned if Tula was even involved in M44 Carbine manufacture. We now know that Tula production of the M44 carbine only lasted a portion of one year, 1944. The exact number of Tula manufactured M44's is unknown but it is very clear that Tula production was quite small. While more examples of these have showed up in recent years, Tula produced carbines still need to be viewed as at least uncommon finds.

| Still lookin' myself. Not real sure who or where but someone mentioned them. I found one at a local shop hidden in a shipment of Izzy's. 1944 Tula m44 no counterbore Stock has a couple gouges but I could change that. They are wanting 150 +tax for it. I have it on hold till Friday. Just trying to find out if it is a good deal or not. With a rarity of 6 that would make it the rarest Mosin I have.

| Thanks Swede! I will take that puppy home with me tomorrow. Shop clerk didn't know the difference between a Tula and his butt.

| The Tula arsenal stamp is a star with an arrow in it. If yours has that then it is VERY rare indeed! Look at your receiver and if it is a Tula it should have markings like this. ![]()

| Hi Tex, Sorry but it looks like we both missed out on the J&G offering ($149). Bigbuddy... $125 for a Tula M44 sounds pretty good. Will the local shop ship to an 03-FFL holder? If so let us know. Thanks. |

| Thor's Hammer ![]() | Typing under the influence! Commonly associated with Mosinitis, it is indicative of a need to be supported by others even by long distance.
