| Short barrel on SKS Is the picture attached to this message a paratroop model SKS? Are they worth more than a regular SKS? If so, how much should I pay for this gun? |

| Bullet Maintenance !! ![]() | That is a Chinese type 84 with a 16" bbl. Manufactured to take 30 rdAK mags and sell for more than a standard SKS. I looked at 2 recently, but was not impressed.

| Prices I think Steve is right. It looks to be the one that takes the ak mags. That will cost you between $325 and $450 most likely. If you just want the paratrooper Probably around $250 and $300. Now a lot depends on condition and if the serial #'s match. I went to the gun show in Dayton Ohio today and I guess everyone is preparing for the election because sks prices have sky rocketed. A normal Chinese sks that I could have bought a month ago for $200 to $225 is now $300 and up. So, the prices I stated above will depend if the panic has hit your area yet or not. Hope this helps
