need help

i need helpi need to know some cheap places to buy a AR-15/M-16

How cheap? I'd say $500-$700 is about as cheap as your going to get. Best thing to do would be to buy a stripped lower, a DPMS lower parts kit, and a old A1 stock with the hardware. That should cost you around $200 or so. Next, buy a LMT or CMT M16 bolt carrier group and charging handle. That will be about $150. Then go to a gun show or a place like gunbroker and look for an old A1 style upper for about $200-$250. Won't get much cheaper then that unless you already have some spare parts lying around.

i dont know if there is any gun shows in IL around this time

I just want a AR-15 that is assembled
