very nice, but personally i still like the original set up on any M-14. To me, this takes the beauty out of the rifle. But very nice, hoping to save up enough, eventually, to get my own.

ya, i'd have mine original, but thats only if I ONLY had one! :P If i had two the second one would be all tricked out! Don't know if I would go for the stock you have on yours. I like everything about it except for how the stock looks by the receiver... I would go with that style stock but w/o the upper part by the receiver.

You certainly do have a nice rifle... I wouldn't mind looking into the Troy Industries stocks... when possible.

I used to shoot competitively with this... so it explains my being partial to the original rifle. Currently, purchasing a Leupold 6.5 - 20x50 Mark 4 LR/T M1 Illuminated Tactical Scope and a Harris bipod to dress up the 14... possibly looking into a composite stock to control wood swelling during temperate differences. Consistency is key...

My drool bucket is full!
Larry, yours is nice also. I've been working on mine all winter, brought everything up to NM, still needs bedding. I have three stocks, my original standard, a heavy walnut and a usgi glass stock that I have reinforced with carbon fiber tube. I think I'll bed the heavy walnut and do a camo job on the glass one.

Nice rifle too ... do you have the National Match rear sight? Gotta like that 1/4 MOA...
